Reported Bugs That Have Been Repaired
1. 2-25-03
Error that was not printing certain information in the header of the
Customer Quote and
Pilot Trip Sheet has been corrected.
2. 3-7-03 Reported that Pax Facility Charge was not being added into total. Problem corrected.
3. 3-14-03
Reported that once a stored quote was displayed, choosing another
stored quote
caused
a fatal error. This problem has been corrected.
4. 3-14-03
When storing two or more quotes on the same day to the same initial
destination, it was
reported that it was not possible to retrieve any stored quote but the
first one. This problem
has been corrected by adding a time to the name of the stored quote to
make each name
more unique.
5. 3-14-03
While researching the above two problems, it was discovered that after
storing 4 quotes,
blank names and garbage started to appear in the list of quotes. An
error was discovered in
the file indexing routine and has been repaired.
6. 3-17-03
After making a quote, displaying it on the screen and then printing a formal copy,
if you backup to the "make quote" screen, using the backup arrow button
the mileage units
switch from statute to nautical miles. This
problem fixed as of 6/18/03
7. 4-10-03
Reported that after making a quote with "waiting hours," "overnites" or
"pax fac chgs" the Options
screen was not
cleared prior to
the next quote. This is the result of the new ability in Quote 3 to
"backup"
without losing data. The problem has been resolved so that these fields
will be cleared
when starting
a new quote.
8.
6-18-03 Discovered that, on the Options screen, just
after entering all legs, if you click only a few of the
Programmable
Options to apply, your choices were not being saved properly for the
next quote.
Using the
Clear All or Check All buttons stored this choice for future use. The
problem has now
been repaired
and any choice will be saved for subsequent quotes.
9.
10-5-03 The calculation of Balance to Minimum per Day
and Balance to Minimum per leg used a philosophy
that turns out
to be incorrect. The appropriate changes have been made and these two
functions
should now
work appropriately.
10.
10-5-03 A request was made to make an Invoice using
the same format at the new formal quote form.
This has been
accomplished and, when printing a quote, a choice can be made to make
it a quote or
an invoice.

10-5-03 An error was occurring after changing the
search radius for locating nearest airports. This has been
repaired.
12.
10-5-03 Because of the way most programs sort text,
any city names with an apostrophe are sorted by ignoring
the
apostrophe. Unfortunately, this caused some weird things to happen when
entering a city while
searching for
the nearest airport. Specifically, any city name beginning with "LAS"
could not be entered.
We have
changed the sort to treat
the apostrophe differently, putting it before any similar city without
an
apostrophe in
the same character
position. This seems to have solved the problem. Please let me know
if you find
any other difficulties in searching for nearest airports. Because of
this change, you will need
to download
two files and replace
them in the QUOTE3 folder. They are: Citybase.atr and NRindex.atr.
These two files are now included
with
the program update and included in a self-extracting, zipped file
called UpdateFiles.exe that can be downloaded
using
the link above.

4-1-04 Not an April Fools joke! An error was appearing in
the print format routine that placed a given number of
blank lines at the top of a printed
quote. The bug has been found and, I hope, fixed. I have also fixed
the
problem of occasionally not being able to
access the printer font selection window. Hopefully this, too,
will
solve an inrritating problem.

2-24-05 When trying to print a previously saved quote,
nothing would happen. This problem has been fixed and, hopefully,
will not produce another bug
somewhere.
When we have ironed out the bugs associated with an
initial
release of a new version, we will make
available a new CD to replace the distribution disk. Please check back
to this website periodically for
other bugs and fixes. Email your comments, bugs or suggestions to
